In total, there will be 1,000,000,000 QBT. They will be distributed as follows :
What is the Breakdown of QBT Distribution?
QBT Rewards (Liquidity) Mining
57% of the total supply of QBT will be distributed to liquidity providers as rewards. Mining for this will be conducted over a period of 12 months where 5% of the total supply will be paid out to liquidity providers per month.
Upon live service (August 24, 2021 UTC 0600), 3% (30,000,000 QBT) and 4% (40,000,000 QBT) of the total QBT supply will be distributed on the first and second month to liquidity providers with the preceding month’s rate will be 5% (50,000,000), totaling 570,000,000 QBT.
1,643,835 QBT will be emitted daily to liquidity providers, which will result in the emissions of approximately 50,000,000 QBT per month. These daily emissions are estimated to be worth $82,190 per day based on the issuing price of QBT at $0.05 from the Pre-Launch Liquidity Event.
These rewards will be distributed evenly to all of the liquidity pools.
Developer's Supply
15% of the total supply of QBT will be allocated to the Developer’s Supply. The Developer’s Supply will be distributed over a 1 year vesting period.
MND Contribution
10% of the total supply of QBT will be allocated to MND. MND is a token backed by the MND Vault, which captures the economic benefits of all Mound’s projects including Qubit itself.
Marketing
10% of the total supply of QBT will be allocated for marketing purposes.
Security Fund
3% of the total supply of QBT will be allocated for security purposes such as conducting external audits and paying out bounty programs.
Pre-Launch Liquidity Event
5% of the total supply of QBT will be allocated for presale. Half of this allocation will be unlocked upon launch, where the other half will be locked and distributed evenly over 30 days following launch to all participants of the Pre-Launch Liquidity Event.
Initial Distribution
Therefore, in total, the initial distribution volume will be 150,000,000 tokens and represent 15% of the total supply. This will include tokens allocated to MND, and tokens sold and issued during the Pre-Launch Liquidity Event.
As mentioned previously, 10% will be distributed to MND holders, and 5% will be issued to participants of the Pre-Launch Liquidity Event.
